Certain arc-melting experiments were tried with higher indium contents but were unsuccessful because th2 indium metal boiled before the temperature that was needed t o melt the zirconium was reached. For the present, attention w i l l be given mainly t o the higher zirconium alloys, and only occasional experiments with diffusion cans or with master alloys w i l l be attempted t o find a satisfactory method of making alloys with more than 35 at, % indium.
